Game Drives in Kafue

Kafue National Park is Africa's last hidden gem, and at 22,400 km sq. it is one of the largest National Parks in Africa. This area has remained largely untouched by development so remains a unique and pristine wilderness with sublime scenery, game viewing and bird watching.

The wildlife of Kafue is more diverse than any park in Africa, with an abundance of big game, including elephants, lion, buffalo, leopard, and even cheetah. It is also home the African wild dog which can commonly seen in the Luangwa and Lower Zam. Interpretive game drives also allow guests to view large numbers of plains game such as puku, red lechwe, buffalo and wildebeest. Even the rare Sable along with Roan antelope can only been seen in the park. Although the diversity land animals is impressive, it pales into insignificance when considering that Kafue is home to almost 500 species of bird.
