The exterior of the hotel has been designed as a traditional Spanish Finca, whilst the interior is carefully modelled on a Moorish cloister, typical of the architecture of this region. The hand carved ceilings and floors, marble, antiques and fountains all fit in perfectly with the landscape and surroundings.
Finca Cortesin has 67 spacious suites, with views over either the beautiful Andalucian countryside or the sparkling azure sea. For larger parties and family groups, the property also offers a selection of contemporary style private villas, each with their own private plunge pool and landscaped gardens. The hotel has three outdoor pools and one indoor heated swimming pool, tennis courts and one of Spain's best 18-hole golf courses. For tennis lovers there are two paddle and two tennis courts overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The luxurious spa offers the very best in Thai treatments.
The Finca Cortesin has its own beach club on the “Bahía de Casares” beach, less than a mile away. For those who'd rather not walk, there is a hotel shuttle to take you to and from the beach. The club has lush gardens, day beds and sun loungers surrounding the 35m infinity pool. Fresh Mediterranean cuisine and the freshest of seafood is served in the restaurant.
There are four great restaurants; El Jardin de Lutz offers traditional Spanish cuisine, REI restaurant is the new Japanese gastronomic restaurant by renowned head chef Louis Olarra, the Don Giovanni Restaurant offers innovative Italian cuisine whilst The Josper BBQ serves delicious poolside lunches. The Blue Bar offers classic cocktails where you can also enjoy a selection of Spanish tapas and wide range of teas. Children are very welcome at Finca Cortsein, with it's own Mini Club for children aged 4-12 years.
The nearest local village is Casares, with its typical small restaurants and bars. The famous “white villages” of Andalucia are all in close proximity, whilst the stunning town of Ronda with its must-see bullring, is only a 45 minute drive away. This hotel is perfect for combining relaxation with some golf, tennis or some spa treatments, and is a great base from which to visit the local area.

For a really special dinner, or to celebrate an occasion, request the sampling menu in the hotel's Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant for the ultimate fine dining experience. Prepare to be amazed by the incredible flavours throughout each of the numerous courses.

Finca Cortesin is located near Estepona, between Marbella and Sotogrande, on the Costa del Sol, 20 minutes from Gibraltar.
It is a 2-hour 50-minute British Airways flight to Malaga Airport, followed by a 45-minute drive. Car hire or a private transfer can be easily arranged.
