The Last Word is situated in the heart of Franschhoek village, the gourmet capital of South Africa. It’s only a minute’s walk from the many excellent award-winning restaurants and numerous character-filled boutique style shops and art galleries. Surrounding areas such as Paarl, Stellenbosch and Cape Town can be explored from here.
12 hour international flight from London to Cape Town. The Cape Town International airport is only 50 minutes drive from Franschhoek and it is recommended that the valley be explored by vehicle (which can be collected at the airport or alternatively delivered at the hotel).
