Built by the Order of St John, St John’s Co-Cathedral’s austere exterior is of drastic contrast to what you will find inside, a sumptuous high baroque interior. It is a sight to behold with every surface brimming with gold and intricate designs, all with a special meaning and story of history. The high vaulted ceiling was painted in the life of John the Baptist, with an intricate detailing to the mass of gold guilting that makes this Cathedral sing.
