Camping
This stylishly decorated tented lodge has a Moroccan feel to it and wonderful views. The Lodge has fantastic game viewing just on the edge of Samburu National Reserve. There are nine Moroccan thatched and canvas suites each with a private plunge pool.

When to visit
Climb up onto a huge rock near the lodge for incredible sundowners and the staff even had a little fire going to cook some delicious sausages. A wonderful way to end the day.

Sasaab is situated in Westgate Community Conservancy of Ngutuk Ongiron Group Ranch (NOGR), in the Northern Frontier District of Kenya. The conservancy was established in 2004, it borders Samburu National Reserve to its south east, Kalama Community Wildlife Conservancy to its east and Namunyak Wildlife Conservation Trust to the north.
It is an 8-hour 30-minute international flight to Nairobi. Just over a 1-hour flight from Nairobi into Buffalo Springs (scheduled twice daily) and then a 1-hour 30-minute drive through Samburu Reserve to Sasaab with a game drive on the way, or directly into Sasaab's airstrip by private charter.
Saruni Samburu
Saruni Samburu is a deluxe lodge set in a breathtaking position in the Kalama Wildlife Conservancy adjacent to the Samburu National Reserve in northern Kenya. The lodge has just six villas and offers a superb safari experience in pristine surroundings.
Sarara Treehouses
Sarara Treehouses is a sister camp to Sarara, that is set amidst the canopy of trees nestled at the foothills of the Mathews Range. Eight en-suite tree houses are located on this forested mountainside and each come with their own star bed.
Sarara Camp
Sarara is a leading community-run tented camp set in the Namunyak Conservancy on the lower slopes of the Mathews Range in Northern Kenya. A natural rock swimming pool overlooks a waterhole frequently visited by animals.
