Nirjhara is located on Bali's south-west coast, on a quieter stretch compared to its neighbours in Canggu or Seminyak, although these are still within easy reach. The hotel is also conveniently located close by to the island of Tanah Lot, as well as volcanic beaches and the lush Balinese countryside.
The property is comprised of 25 well-appointed villas, including seven elevated Canopy Suites, which boast superb views across the surrounding rice paddies and lush jungle from their raised position off the ground. The Canopy Suites also feature an indulgent bathtub on the private roof deck, where sunsets can also be enjoyed. All of the different villas at Nirjhara are designed using locally sourced material, including timber, rattan and stone.
The hotel's onsite restaurant, Ambu, has been uniquely designed to encompass the feeling of sitting amongst in the trees, and features a diverse Balinese menu with local dishes, as well as Western favourites, using some of the best locally-sourced and in-season produce. For guests in need of a frosty cocktail, the bar is the place to head to, where the mixologist will whip up a refreshing concoction.
For guests looking to relax and unwind during their stay at Nirjhara, there is a superb spa, The Retreat Spa, which also features a waterside yoga shala; pilates and yoga classes; and a well-equipped gym. The spa menu itself is extensive including traditional Balinese massages, botanical scrubs and rejuvenating facials.
