Eagles Palace is an unpretentious, traditional family run hotel forming part of Eagles Resort, near Ouranoupolis on the Halkidiki Peninsula. Eagles Palace Hotel and Eagles Villas offer a fantastic combination of luxury hotel and villa accommodation, which is particularly suitable for families. A member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World, it's known for its friendly service and authentic hospitality, but its crowning glory is its location. Set right on a long sandy beach and with a well-established watersports centre, it is the ideal place for those looking for a relaxing, water-based family holiday. Eagles Palace offers traditional hotel accommodation, whilst Eagles Villas located in the hills just behind the main hotel feature a stunning collection of 40 independent villas, all with private pools, amazing views over Ammouliani Island and two separate restaurants.

The focus at Eagles Palace is most definitely the beach and the water. The sand is golden and slopes gently down to shallow waters - making it perfect for younger children and babies. The water is crystal clear and it's easy to see schools of fish from the jetty, all of which has earned it Blue Flag status. Explore Halkidiki's crystal-clear waters with ‘Explore the Outside’, offering private guided cruises or rent a speedboat on your own to explore the local coastline and islands. Experience a wonderful array of activities at the Watersports Centre, with water skiing, wakeboarding, ringos, sailing, SUP, pedalo and kayaking available. The gentle beach and calm breezes create the perfect conditions for children to gain confidence in the water and learn to sail, windsurf, kayak or paddle board. Whilst the resort's dive centre offers PADI courses and trips out into the waters surrounding Halkidiki, which are teeming with aquatic life.

Guests who prefer to relax on the beach can order food and drink just by pressing a button on their parasol. Next to the beach is a large heated swimming pool and a separate children’s pool, both surrounded by neat Mediterranean gardens. From everywhere in the resort, there are dramatic views over the beautiful Sigiticos Gulf and the World Heritage Site of Mt Athos. The more adventurous can join one of the tailor-made excursions to explore the surrounding scenery, either mountain biking, hiking or sea kayaking to the nearby island of Ammouliani.

The accommodation at Eagles Palace is contemporary in style and comfortable, having undergone an extensive refurbishment. A mix of rooms, suites and bungalows, many have balconies or terraces with views over the bay. For maximum space and privacy, and the best views, we love the Sea Front Suites and the Bungalows, nestled in the gardens and with access to the beach. The closest airport is Thessaloniki which well served by British Airways and Easyjet from Gatwick. The flying time is approximately 3-hours 30-minutes. Eagles Palace is a 1-hour 45-minute drive from Thessaloniki International Airport-Macedonia.
