Qufu

Famously known as the hometown of Confucius, Qufu hosts key cultural sites such as the Temple of Confucius, the Cemetery of Confucius and the Kong Family Mansion which had since been inscribed into the UNESCO World Heritage Site list in 1994.

Qufu's historical centre is surrounded by city wall from the legacy of the Ming dynasty. It had also played major role during the Tang Dynasty and Song Dynasty.
