Echo Valley Ranch offers a fusion of guest ranch, adventure lodge and luxury wellness retreat in the heart of Canada's "cowboy country". Usually adult only, during July and August they also welcome families looking for a comfortable ranch experience.
Highlights
Beautiful location in the heart of the Canadian wilderness
Meals are enjoyed family style so guests can interact with eachother after a day of adventure
Great for beginner riding
Plenty of activities outside of riding including fishing and hiking
Not your standard guest ranch, Echo Valley offers more of a soft adventure experience ideal for those who wish to perhaps just try riding for the first time or for a couple or family whose interests are not purely focussed on the riding.
Set in the heart of Cariboo country in a wonderfully scenic location, Echo Valley offers a very different experience. A combination of East meets West, guests can enjoy a ride in the morning and be pampered in the decadent Thai Spa in the afternoon.
Meals are enjoyed family style with an open kitchen and buzzing social feel. Varied cuisine is served, everything from an old fashioned ranch barbecue through to traditional Thai nights. Try and sit up at the kitchen counter and be wowed by the Master Chef's cooking demonstrations, tips and tasters. Cooking lessons can also be arranged by request.
Although adult only and orientated for most of the year, during July and August children are welcomed at the ranch and activities are planned to keep them happy and occupied whilst learning all about the ranch experience ensuring that parents have an opportunity to take advantage of some of the activities on offer too. Babysitting is also included in the family packages if required.
Whether you are a couple or friends passing through en route to the Rockies or a keen hiker, fisher or rider, or a family wanting an outdoor adventure, Echo Valley Ranch offers a luxurious ranch experience in a stunning setting which will blow those city cobwebs away.
Please note that smoking is not permitted on the ranch or in the grounds.
