Cavallo Point Lodge is located just minutes from the San Francisco excitement, Sausalito charm and Marin Headland’s activities. The resort has been named one of the Top 10 New American Landmarks, with its unique location in the Golden Gate National Park.
The resort blends old and new to great effect, especially in regards to the style of accommodation available. Guests can choose from the unique and beautifully restored historical rooms in Fort Baker, a former Army Post, with hillside or San Francisco vistas. Or guests can opt for the more contemporary lodgings perched up on the hill with impressive views of the bay and The Golden Gate Bridge. All the rooms and suites are equipped with luxurious facilities and windows that open to let the bay breeze in, cozy sitting areas and organic beddings.
The hotel's Murray Circle restaurant is a destination in itself. Guests can choose from a selection of 2000 wines, dine in views of the Golden Gate Bridge and sample Chef Justin Everett’s fine seasonal, locally sourced cuisine. The Farley Bar has a welcoming atmosphere for a pre-dinner aperitif or a post dinner digestif, with its warming fireplace and leather chairs, guests can unwind in comfort. Furthermore, you could enjoy some hands on cooking yourself with the Cavallo Cooking School. The school offers an intimate learning environment where you can learn to cook some of the dishes you’ve sampled in the restaurant.
The tranquil Healing Arts Center and Spa at Cavallo Point Lodge is a favorite amongst Scott Dunn guests. The welcoming and peaceful environment of the spa never fails to leave guests feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. Guests can enjoy a choice of signature massages, holistic body and mind treatments, yoga classes, spending time in the heated outdoor meditation pool or sitting by the fireplace to reflect.
