Le Quartier Francais is a beautiful country inn in the heart of the French Huguenot village of Franschhoek. The Auberge combines the atmosphere of a European retreat with warmth and familiarity.

There are 15 en-suite rooms and two suites overlooking a charming garden and the four ‘Four Quarters’ private suites face their own private courtyard and pool. The rooms are spacious with a comfortable sitting area and are cosily furnished in a contemporary South African style.

The Four Quarters suites are larger with an emphasis on design in vibrant colors and modern art. Guests may request breakfast in their rooms, at the pool or tucked away in a secluded corner of the garden. The restaurant, La Petite Colombe, is renowned for its contemporary cuisine (including excellent tasting menus), country hospitality and fine regional wines.

Golf courses and other sporting facilities, such as mountain biking are close by, and the area has an abundance of vineyards, wine cellars, galleries and country shops, not to mention exquisite forests and valleys. Le Quartier Francais will gladly pack a superb picnic basket should you wish to make the most of exploring the area.
