Sepilok Nature Resort has 23 timber chalets, set around a natural lake and surrounded by verdant gardens and lush rainforest. The resort's gardens are huge, with an impressive collection of exotic plants, including 150 different species of orchid and lots of fruit varieties.
Like much of the accommodation in Borneo, the rooms at Sepilok Nature Resort are fairly basic. However they do have air-conditioning and overhead fans, as well as en-suite bathrooms and verandas which either look over the lake or into the rainforest. There are two duplex bungalows, which have a downstairs bedroom and upstairs living room, and the design is also a bit more polished versus the standard chalets.
There is a restaurant in the resort's main building, serving local and international dishes. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, and while the resort does not have a swimming pool, there is a deck with some sunbeds.
