El Remanso Lodge

El Remanso Lodge is a 16 rooms only "Boutique Lodge" located on in Cabo Matapalo, Costa Rica's Pacific Coast and is near the town of Puerto Jimenez. It is surrounded by a private reserve and is part of the Osa Peninsula National Refuge. Accommodation is available in a selection of artful Guest rooms, Bungalows, and Villas which guests discribes as "Forest Floating Villas" featuring modern amenities and stunning views of the ocean or forest. The in-house restaurant is situated on a deck above the forest canyon and features spectacular views of the forest below. The lodge also features a beautiful swimming pool with a large wooden deck where guests can relax and enjoy the sunset. Energy Since its inception in 1999, El Remanso has proudly produced all its own electricity. 100% renewable sources Air Conditioning “We cool El Remanso naturally” – all of El Remanso’s buildings are designed with open air spaces to enable temperature control by airflow and ceiling fans. Water Water comes directly from a clean, natural spring on El Remanso property. It’s treated by a UV system and tested.
