With only fifteen tents overlooking Uluru (or Ayer's Rock), one of Australia’s most iconic features, Longtitude 131 is the most unique way to experience this amazing destination. Longitude 131 takes 'glamping' to another level. The tents are lavishly decorated in a traditional Australian style with a white dome roof, billowing drapes, plush five star furnishing. The flick of a bedside switch is all it takes to raise the blinds and watch the spectacular ever changing light move across Uluru.
The Dune House is the central building with dining room, open bar and library and here meals can be enjoyed communally with other guests or private dining can also be arranged. Dining at Table 131 is something that all guests must experience at Longitude 131 - it is atmospheric alfresco dining at its best with the sound of the didgeridoo accompanying modern, Australian fusion cuisine. There is even a resident storyteller to share stories of the past around the camp fire.
