Seeking out the best travel experiences has led me to pitching a tent on the side of a 6,000m volcano awaiting a sunrise summit attempt, to relaxing in the finest lodges and hotels.

For over 20 years I have kept returning to Latin America. Memorable highlights include witnessing a jaguar mother teach her cubs how to hunt in the Pantanal; traveling overland through Argentina’s remote Puna desert region; and swimming with playful sea lions in the Galapagos Islands. I have also spent the last decade traveling on expedition ships to Antarctica, Greenland and Svalbard. These close-up encounters with polar bear, walrus and the vast penguin colonies should be on everybody's bucket list!
