Not for the faint hearted, the glass pods of the Skylodge Adventure Suites sit 400m above the floor in Peru's Sacred Valley, perched on the cliffside. To reach the capsules, guests must embark on an intrepid climb up 400m of Via Ferrata and to get down enjoy either a series of zip-line trails down the mountain or rappelling. A stay here is definitely for the adventurous but very rewarding for anyone that needs a quick adrenaline hit!
Hanging from the mountain, each of the three suites is a transparent capsule, offering spectacular 300-degree views of the surrounding valley. They have been exceptionally designed to offer guests a comfortable night's rest. Electricity is powered by solar energy and each suite comes with a private bathroom, bed and dining space. Each pod is built to withstand the weather conditions and to adhere to international safety standards.
For all activities included in your stay, a full safety briefing will be carried out to ensure the best possible experience and on arrival you will be shown how to use the lodge and its facilities. Your stay includes fully guided activities to and from the lodge, all equipment, snacks, purified water, dinner, a bottle of wine and breakfast. Highly recommended for a fun alternative stay in the Sacred Valley.
