Each lodge has its own unique characteristics and views. Sanctuary Lodge has beautiful gardens and a view of Fishtail Mountain in the distance. It is often used as a start point for the hike and if needed the walk to the lodge can be shortened to just 30 mins on arrival.
When to visit
Ghandruk is worth adding even though it involves a steep climb from the other three lodges which are located further down the valley. It offers the closest views and the most rewarding Himalayan village experience.
