Private Hanging Bridges & Arenal Volcano Hike with Tico Picnic

Combining three incredible experiences, this full day tour is a chance to immerse yourself in the natural beauty, bird, and wildlife of the Místico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park, as well as enjoying a wonderful picnic lunch by the Burro River. The day starts with a hike across the rainforest canopy along the park’s 16 suspension bridges, which provide the ideal perspective for viewing the exotic bird and wildlife of the forest. Look out for toucans, hummingbirds, bellbirds, monkeys, and reptiles, while learning about the forest’s ecosystems and impressive biodiversity from your guide. Also on the agenda is a chance to experience the Arenal Volcano Hike, where you will learn about the history of the volcano and get to walk across historic lava fields, offering magnificent views of the surrounding area. After the hike there is a real treat in store, with a gourmet picnic served by the scenic Burro River. A private host will serve dishes which include Tico ceviche of dorado or sea bass with avocado, pejibaye and green plantain, tortillas, suckling pig, chicken or bean sandwiches, fresh salad, fruits, and chocolate, alongside a Jamaican-inspired cocktail.
