Beautiful contemporary style with lovely local traditional design touches
With its remote location, surrounded by beautiful countryside, and dedication to promoting traditional Lanna architecture and local artworks, Raya Heritage is ideal for those that are looking for a true sense of place. Even though inextricable Thai, there is a clear modern edge to the property with lovely straight lines, beautiful handmade natural fabrics and a focus on locally sourced pieces from artisans from the North of Thailand.
As a small and boutique property, there are just 38 spacious suites at the hotel which are separated into three categories. Each suite comes complete with an outdoor terrace with some having an additional private pool. Designed with a beautiful, light and airy feel, each room has a contemporary and tranquil atmosphere.
In terms of facilities, the main restaurant, Khu Khao serves an interesting mix of Burmese, Cambodian, Laotian, Yunanese and Mon cuisines and as much as possible, uses produce solely sourced from local sustainable farms. For afternoons relaxing, you can choose from either the Laan Cha tea terrace or Baan Ta lounge. Alongside the dining options, you’ll also find a lovely outdoor swimming pool with views over the river, a gym and lovely spa with a variety of relaxing treatments.
