Nestled amongst forested valleys and snowy peaks lies the effortlessly cool architectural masterpiece of the Treehotel - the final stop on your adventure, where you'll spend two nights perched in the forest canopy in your one-of-a-kind treehouse. A remarkable experience of sleeping up in the trees whilst taking in incredible views of the surrounding landscape, and no better way to appreciate the stillness and beauty of this natural wonderland. Magical days can be spent exploring the tranquil wintry forest on snowshoes or discovering a unique insight into the culture of the north with a visit to a nearby Sami village, learning about the traditions of these indigenous reindeer herders. For a truly special end to your family adventure, set out by snowmobile across the wilderness in search of the Northern Lights dancing in the night sky.

The final stop of the adventure is at the nearby Treehotel, where you'll spend two nights perched in the forest canopy in your one-of-a-kind treehouse. Choose between creative designs such as a Birds Nest, Dragonfly or UFO and enjoy the excitement of sleeping in the trees in addition to the incredible views of the surrounding landscape. We have included a snowmobile adventure for the whole family when, after a brief instruction, you’ll roar up the engines and speed off into the snowy wilderness. Discover the culture of the north with a visit to a nearby Sami village, learning about the traditions of these indigenous reindeer herders, or try Nordic ski touring through the forests. For a truly special final night, enjoy a delicious three-course dinner tucked away in a heated tipi on top of a frozen lake, and look out for the Northern Lights dancing through the night sky.

As the construction of the Ice Hotel is subject to weather conditions, an exact time frame cannot be guaranteed, however the hotel is usually open from December through to April. A trip to Swedish Lapland at this time will offer the highest chance of spotting the Northern Lights, and activities such as husky sledding, snowshoeing and snowmobiling will be available.
For Summer activities July- September is the best time to visit.
