Floating along on a comfortable Zodiac, this coastal excursion gives you chance to get up close to the black bears which come out of semi-hibernation in May, flocking to the shores to search for food. Observe them as they swipe fish out of the water with large paws.
The Zodiac has a shallow draft which allows it to easily manoeuvre through the shallow bays off the coast of Tofino. The tour includes a Mustang floater suit, toque and gloves for the journey, as well as complimentary hot drinks on return. Participants should dress warmly, bring a camera, binoculars, sun glasses and sun screen.
The tour departs from the Marine Centre in Tofino and lasts for 2.5 hours. Departure time is tide dependent.
